or just generally play the odd gig outside of your own town / city - why do you tend to skip out Birmingham?

I think we're getting a few more visitors now, but how come we're not an automatic stop point, like Manchester for instance? Is it the lack of places to play / people to put you on, or past experience of poor audience turn outs, or what?

Trying to understand why acts often tend to make for Wolverhampton instead, when most of the gigs I've seen there have had poor attendances unless it's a big name band.
