Strokes new album out in September
I imagine this will be their worst yet. Mainly based on the shitness of Casablancas' solo record, and because "everyone is contributing ideas" to the writing process.
If only they'd split up before that third record. I remember hearing Juicebox for the first time and realising how hard they were now trying to say "look, we're not just a one-trick pony! we can do other things! we're still relevant!!!". The lesson they taught: stick to what you do best and never try to achieve praise from Pitchfork et al.
