I'm in a band in London and we're currently sorting out some gigs for the spring. A promotions company called Forward Slash promotions contacted us via Myspaz and offered us a gig in April, which we agreed to because they were all complimentary, like. But today they sent through this long contract, which I think basically amounts to pay-to-play. Has anyone in a band played a gig with these guys? What are they like? I'm getting the impression their a bunch of shysters, but I don't want to judge to quickly...
