I've listened to TOTBL before and, despite liking the band's sound, have been totally put off by Paul Banks' voice.

I am now free of the shackles of my weak ears and can appreciate Interpol much more. Some of the tracks on TOTBL are filler if you ask me, but most of it is pretty darn good.

Anyway, my question to you is...what are they like live? I seem to remember some negative feedback regarding festival appearances this year?

subquestion: bands you didn't like for some time and then miraculously did a u-turn on?
