I just want to thank whoever it was who recommended this album in a discussion about that appalling Hurts track last week.

It's an absolutely brilliant, brilliant record, a stone cold forgotten classic.

If it was released tomorrow it would be massive in DIS circles I think. Anyone who likes Blue Nile or Talk Talk or who is just curious should investigate it.

I don't know how I managed to miss it at the time (1990) - I even bought their first (far inferior) album a few years before.
