Please help. I am possibly purchasing a bass for someone and my budget is around £300. I am looking for a 6 string bass in that sort of range but seeing as I have little knowledge of basses, I would like some advice on what to get.

Also, which online shops do you use to get equipment from? I don't mind Denmark Street but I'm not down with their prices.
