Had the misfortune of catching Editor's 'Papillon' on the radio today - how and why on earth does Tom Smith maintain that droning-Richard-Curtis-drowning-in-marmite singing voice is beyond me. If his actual speaking voice was like that fair enough maybe, but that singing voice is so forced and contrived...

...and he's not the only one. Her out of Florence and the &*(*^*& Machine has a hideous singing voice and as for him out of Antony & The Johnsons with his permanent vocal impression of a castrated malaria-sufferer, words fail me.
