We're inceredibly excited to announce a special and incredibly rare gig by the Astral Social Club! The Wire describes him as having "provided the map co-ordinates for much of what passed for a post-punk UK underground during most of the 80s and 90s". Expect shimmering waves of synth drones swelling of distortion and fuzz of absolute bliss. Support comes from the Mike Patton inspired musical genius that is Team Brick. He has a record out on Invada and just recently came back from touring as part of his other band, BEAK>, which features Geoff Barrow of Portishead fame. I would definitely recommend turning up early to catch Joseph Scott and his etheral textured soundscapes in the vein of My Bloody Valentine and m83. His You Keep Me Hidden EP was my favourite of 2009.
