I know peoplesay avoid Denmark St so is there anywhere further out of town that is good - I mean even in zone 6?

I thought about Flying Pig guitars but are they still going? they seem hard to contact.

Ideally I'm looking for a Mexican fender bass bet 3-400 quid if poss, or maybe a squier if it's nice and cheap. I need a good bass for gigging.
