Broken Bells, the new band from James Mercer (The Shins) and Brian Burton (otherwise known as Danger Mouse and one half of Gnarls Barkley) have made lead off track ‘The High Road’ from their self-titled debut album available as a free download for the next 24 hours.

The track is due to get it’s first UK radio play today on Lauren Laverne’s BBC Radio 1 show. The debut album is set to be released on Monday 8th March 2010.
