COWTOWN is three striped robot protector cephalopods from leeds. their names are tip-top secret and their mission is to: a) protect the people from destroyer cephalopods. b) bring music to the people, in the form of short, hi-octane thrill pop songs, with guitar like jeremy jacobsen in DEVO-mode, keyboards to match, and pounding super-tight drum noises.

KID PANG used to be called LAKES. LAKES played at econo band night #2 last year. a major theme in the music of KID PANG is 'crime' and particularly that of local spazzy gypnut legends that would otherwise be forgotten. major influences include DRIVE LIKE JEHU, HOT SNAKES, ENABLERS, MELVINS and MISSION OF BURMA to name but a few.

NOPE is a band featuring a rotating cast of musicians which will almost certainly feature one or all of leeds and bradford based noisy-duos THAT FUCKING TANK and MUCKY SAILOR, a COWTOWN and a MONTY CASINO. they play psychedelic jammed out kraut-ishrock that people have likened to STEREOLAB, SPACEMEN 3, NEU!, PARADISE LOST, TELEVISION and SANTANA.
