Basically I have a recent obsession with Why? and their older stuff, where Yoni really gets into a great hip-hop styling.

I have always been into the folk/indie scene, and never really gave rap or hip-hop a good go, mainly because of the crap that's on the radio all the time.

So i'm wondering if you guys could recommend some hip-hop artists:

1: Who have GREAT lyrics like Yoni (so no bitches and ho's please ;))
2: Great vocals (Original voices, with some decent vocal harmonies as well as just the rapping),
3: Most importantly great music backing it all up. (I don't want that Dr. Dre poo where there's just a "phat" beat as they say ;). In an ideal world im talking really clever arrangements with great instrumentation)

I'm probably asking too much, but if anyone can think of any artists that come close I would be very grateful, cause right now I just need some good new music to get into.
