I've always liked Ride, but on some of their songs I can't help but wince - weak, weak vocals.

I've always hated Oasis, but Liam Gallagher at least has a bit of power and passion in his voice.

IS IT TOO MUCH TO HOPE that with Liam's post-Oasis band we may get the rich textures of Ride coupled with vocals that are actually passable?

Or will we just get another Tarantula, albeit with even more woefully inept lyrics?
