Whats your average day/week like when it comes to listening to music? For me:

___Monday-Friday___

6:15am - 7:00am (avg = 45 minutes)
Commute to work, its the perfect amount of time to listen to a full album.

7:00am - 4:00pm (avg = 5 hours)
I get to listen to music at work (graphic design) so I generally listen on and off for most of the day. I usually just listen to whatever playlist I have that fits the mood I am in. If I need to be in the zone, I TRY to listen to stuff appropriate for creativity; jazz, electronic and post-rock type stuff.

4:00pm - 4:45pm (avg = 45 minutes)
Commute home. I usually put my iPod on shuffle and let it ride.

5:00pm - 11:00pm (avg = 15 minutes)
Family time. I rarely listen to anything more than a couple songs here or there, maybe dance with the kid a little or show the wife some track I know she will love, etc. Maybe once a week I will do some freelance work for an hour or two and the I will listen while I work, but its not much.

___Weekend___

(avg = 2 hours)
Sporadic listening here or there. Sunday I may play some really light music in the background (James Blackshaw, TIm Hecker, Coltrane, etc) but nothing too serious.

Average per week comes out to over 30 hours of music listening. Damn, thats a lot.
