I've recently noticed a tendency for relatively young bands to take a long break and for their members to get mired in solo projects with varying degrees of success. I'm looking at you Interpol (Paul Banks) and The Strokes(every member except Nick Valensi... seriously). Any other recent solo projects that are noteworthy, for good or bad?
