A special acoustic set from an act whose strong live sets and socially-aware lyrics about the complications of being in love have captured the imagination of Radio 1’s Rob Da Bank and Huw Stephens. This year they’ve recorded a live session at the famous Maida Vale studio for Radio 1, played at Glastonbury and Field Day festival’s, supported Laura Marling and recently finished touring with Mumford & Sons.

Aspen Sails make music which is a soaring wave of hook-filled melody orchestrated through their intertwining vocals and gently-caressed guitars. They are a must-see band for fans of Fleet Foxes, The Shins, Kings of Convenience and Iron and Wine.
Since the formation of the band less than 6 months ago, Aspen Sails have performed alongside the likes of Slow Club, First Aid Kit, Jay Jay Pistolet and Wild Beasts and toured with Californian quartet Chief (Domino Records).
