Spiral Beach, Hey Rosetta! and guests - Queen of Hoxton, November 24th
My very own Muso's Guide (http://www.musosguide.com) is working with Canadian Blast (http://www.canadianblast.com/) on this show, and I can't bloody wait. It's only 16 days away now, and our reputation with the live stuff now is making me very, very happy. And what's more, this is a helluva line-up! Please accord and come along to the Queen of Hoxton on Tuesday 24 November for this:
SPIRAL BEACH play playful eccentric pop with a multiply-coloured attitude and are being talked up as the next big export to come out of Canada. Known for their wild stage antics and energetic performances, often featuring pylons and video projections, it's your only chance to catch Spiral Beach on their only London date.

HEY ROSETTA! are riding on the buzz of the Polaris Prize (the Canadian equivalent of our Mercury Prize) nod for their latest album Into Your Lungs. The sound they produce is a restless beast of beauty, with masterfully layered string parts spliced with garagey guitars into epic start-stop dynamics recalling The Hold Steady,. Into Your Lungs was recorded in two Eastern Canadian harbor towns in the dead of winter.

PLUS fuzzy, quiet-loud guitar-pop from Londoners THE ARGUMENT AND HOW IT STARTED (http://www.myspace.com/theargumentandhowitstarted) and epic, driven power-indie by local quartet REDBLUEGREEN.
Tickets are available from http://www.wegottickets.com/event/62503
See you there, as always.
