Has anyone done this before?
I'm writing for the music bit of a student paper (yeah i know, it's hardly worth most band's time) and there's a couple small-ish bands coming into town that I would like to feature in an interview (Two Door Cinema Club, Dinosaur Pile-Up).

How exactly do I go asking for an interview? Do I just drop a line to their PR guys?
