I finally received the new Idlewild album "Post Electric Blues." I was stunned after I heard it as it's the best idlewild album in years but beyond that it's a strong radio friendly album that is chock full of great tunes. I need someone to explain to me why there appears to be no mention of the album anywhere. Idlewild were an indie staple amongst music fans for years and you could always expect major music sites to review the album and a big color photo review in the NME. DIS seems to be the only site that even reviewed it. Not only do I think it's a shame when a band puts out an album this good this late in their career and it's ignored but I know this was independently released and financed by the fans. You would think websites would help support this type of libertine music distribution for struggling bands screwed over by record labels.
