I'm putting on a gig and I'm super-excited. I want everyone with good taste to come, and those with bad taste too so that they can rethink their lives.

It's happening at The Camden Head on Tuesday October 13 from 8 onwards and I'm kind of stonked to have such a brilliant bill. And what's more, tickets are only £4 in advance.

The headliners, Extradition Order, play feverish demonic music full of sharp riffs. If you like Nick Cave, Arcade Fire and The Sonics, then they'll be right up your street.

Arrows of Love, on second, sound hard and full and fast, and come fresh from a storming set at the Secret Garden Party. Their cello-addled stormers have had Xfm's John Kennedy a-froth.

And last but not least is Bethia Beadman, who also plays in Arrows of Love. Her solo material frames her incredible voice. She sits somewhere between Cat Power and PJ Harvey, if you'd like an easier-to-digest introduction.
