I have been to a fair few gigs in my 30 years of existence and i have seen some what i would say are classic shows NIN at Brixton, Bright Eyes at Dingwalls, but i have seen some shows that i have thought "pah" a gig in point was the Gaslight Anthem last Christmas, it had great reviews across all the mainstream press and also many of my friends who attended the show thought it was also great.

does hype effect the gig somehow?

Any one else feel the same about shows they've attended?
