Howdy guys and gals,

Haven’t posted on these pages for a fair bit. I’m after some recommendations from you good people if you fancy giving us your two pennies…

Basically my old band (The Vipers) has gone to the big band graveyard in the sky, and after a summer off in the wilderness I’m at the beginning stages of starting something new and improved up now. We’re hopefully gonna start gigging towards the end of the year and I wanted some recommendations of good bands local to Manchester/Leeds/Liverpool/Sheffield that we may be able to get some shows with. Think garagey/rock/punk etc but not strictly just that.

In fact they don’t even have to be from Manc etc as above, would prefer those to start with though as that’s where we’ll be knocking around at first. Myspace addresses and all that too if you can be arsed.
