So, we all know black people can't make as good of music as whites.
Sure, Pitchfork's #1 was B.O.B., and it earns it, but on the whole we know that white people make the best music. Look through history at the great composers. Bach? White. Beethoven? White. Brahms? White. Mozart? White. It continued that way for the longest time, through the now large books of old white Anglican folk songs, all the way to the 1900's. Then came rock and roll. Sure, it may have been "pioneered" by blacks (like so many other things, people claim) but who perfected it? Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, and their contemporaries. What were they? White! Then came the best band rock band, many claim, of all the time. The Beatles. Four MEN (Another topic oft brought up and obviously true) and white. After that brought hard rock, heavy metal. Pioneered by the whites, and we all know it. Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and the many copy bands of the 70's and 80's all were white pioneers of modern rock. The same can be said for punk, run on white youth, a genre just like metal which exists strong today.
Of course, the obvious question is, what about rap? Of course it's a genre driven by the darker factions, it grew out of urban communities, which as we all know are filled with people who are too lazy or stupid to apply themselves to real society, blacks. Well, sure it might be run by blacks, but let's look back on the first #1 Album and #1 Single of rap. What's that you say? It was the Beastie Boys, a white rap group? That's what I thought. So even if it's run by blacks, it's still a genre with its first success owed, just like almost all others, to the white man.
So now, let's look at indie rock. From the 80's on, R.E.M. and Husker Du have been obvious fathers, and they were all white. Look at all the great indie bands (except TVotR, which is driven by David Andrew Sitek anyway, and Bloc Party) of the past 20 years. All white. They drive it all.
Whites are obviously more musically talented than blacks.
Yes, I know Bad Brains were black, and it wasn't mentioned in the punk section. They got lucky.
