I adopted my parents old hi-fi system a couple of years ago and have blown out both of the speakers woofers, the foam bits surrounding them are totally shredded. I was wondering what to do, I really like them but i'm going off to university next month not sure whether to get a new set of speakers or just leave it. The whole system is pretty old, the record player/preamp has been playiing up for a while.

Leave the record collection at home for a year? Haul big ass stereo system from watford to liverpool? Both sound equally stupid to me.
