After one listen, I'm really not sure what to make of it. Seems a bit nice. There's no attack or aggression to the delivery, which is what always gave her that bit of edge on top of her obvious lyrical talents. Upstate Songs is probably my favourite female singer/songwriter album of the decade, and the last one was really good too.

Sure after a few listens it will grow on me, and am looking forward to seeing her play again in October. But after carrying it home from the record shop in my sweaty hand excited to hear it, I put it in the hi-fi, and was like "Oh..".

Could someone please tell me I'm wrong and I'll like it after a few listens?
