Having recently rediscovered 59.59 on the i-pod and been blown away on my early morning train commute I was delighted to find a new album being released called Troubled, shaken etc (on vinyl too!) and a live in store as well! At 35mins this was the equivalent length of Latitude set so, an ideal opportunity to see the band in action.

The new album seems far removed from its predecessor so, this means we get two very different soundscapes. Tonight we are treated to some excellent tunes that I can best describe as being of post rock, Radiohead ish influences. With fine musicians throughout and fronted by Sian herself, in fine voice, this is definitely a band to check out.

Hoxton Bar and Kitchen this Thursday 6 Aug and supporting Gang Gang dance on a few dates before they head for the States. A quick chat after the gig found a very welcoming band!
