Having noticed recently that the Glasgow ABC appears to be advertised in the press as the 02 ABC and what with about all the academy venues becoming 02 i'm starting to feel a bit uneasy with the whole idea of this corporate sloganeering. I know that its always been the case and we've had Carling sponsorship, etc; but it seems to me that this is becoming a bit of a takeover and ultimately this cant be good.

Looking for other people's thoughts - is this going on in your city? Are you in support? Do you share my view? Is such sponsorship necessary to keep the venues alive? What about the pre-sale tickets for 02 customers? only?
