Got this idea off the "'All My Friends' made me cry" thread. Anyone get this? When a certain piece of music is so strongly connected to a personal incident/feeling/part of your life and you just can't bring yourself to it because it's too strong? I get this off a lot of Joy Division work (especially 'Decades'), primarily because of when I discovered them I was going through what I humerously like to call my 'John Frusciante circa '94' period. A Transitional period, if you will (without the crack & smack).
