I've decided it's time to reformat my MP3 player and fill it up again because there's too much stuff that I can't bare to delete individually, but just never listen to.

Question is, what is the best approach to filling it back up? Is there a way to strike a balance between new stuff which you want to listen to more and favourite/classic albums? How do you do yours and does it work?
