Y'know the band you love that you stick on the album and you have an urge to just listen to something different about 6 tracks cos you've got your fix or because it's get too tiring?

I love Meet Me In St Louis but I can rarely finish Variations on Swing. Mainly because of the guitars (so abrasive sounding)and the whole stop-start thing they got going. It's ace at the start and really thrilling but the novelty wears off a few tracks in.

Wire- Pink Flag often does it too. Such an awesome album, but like a lot of post-punk records I love, it sounds a little samey after a bit. Gang of Four have that effect also.
