Been listening a lot to this album on spotify, and it really is incredible. It's unbelievable how wonderful talents like this girl can slip through the net to an extent.

If the music world was just in any way (obviously we know it isn't and probably never will be) she'd be huge by now. She is almost certainly the best songwriter and singer of her type in Britain, perhaps the world.

Any fans of Joanna Newsom, I urge you to go listen. As much as I like Joanna Newsom (and as much as the subject would probably dislike me comparing the two of them!), and also without wanting to dish out the hype too much, it's even better, the songs more concise, the vocals are so much easier on the ear.

I spend my life listening to loud, guitar heavy alt-rock, but this is simply brilliant whatever you like.
