Nacional + Milk White White Teeth playing this Saturday at The Faversham
This weekend coming we have the fantastic Nacional
+ Milk White White Teeth gracing our stage!
Fresh off the plane from a string of frenzied performances and a triumphant showcase at this year’s South by South West in Texas, Glasgow based unit Nacional, who are on Leeds based Art Goes Pop Records, are geared up for their next UK tour.
Carrying the torch into the future for all the great British bands, Nacional sound like the prodigal, prodigy children of The Smiths or The Wedding Present. Having supported the likes of Detroit Social Club and Twisted Wheel at key touring venues such as Kings Tuts, the band have already been interviewed and championed by Radio 1’s Steve Lamacq and XFM DJ Jim Gellatly – not to mention being name checked by Elbow front man Guy Garvie as being “my new favourite band” on BBC Radio 1 after seeing Nacional play on the opening day of last year’s Glastonbury festival.
