Someone on these very boards suggested I book a tribute night to the much lauded 80s American underground biography Our Band Could Be Your Life, and I had a think and went one better by sorting out a weekender "Our Band Could BBQ Your Life" (as named by Joe Mahon).

It is to be held on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th August at The Windmill in Brixton, London.

I have some cracking bands booked for the weekend :

Blakfish as Black Flag
4 or 5 Magicians as The Replacements (Saturday) and Rites Of Spring (Sunday)
The Tupolev Ghost as Fugazi
Internet Forever as Beat Happening
Wonderswan as Mudhoney
Sunset Cinema Club as Minutemen
The Jelas as Mission Of Burma

...and a few other TBCs and not-sure-who-they-are-being-yets.

But I need a headliner for the Saturday.

Criteria :

1) Must be awesome.
2) Must be able to feasibly do Sonic Youth or Husker Du (though could also maybe be Big Black, Butthole Surfers, or possibly Dinosaur Jr with a bit of a shuffle!).
3) Must be able to play for no more than about a £70 guarantee with the probability of a bit more.

It would probably still work and still be packed without booking a "headliner" but I want someone awesome to wrap things up on Saturday.

Please suggest away, and give some general appreciation and excitement about the event (which is gonna be amazing!).
