I'm listening to Larks Tongues in Aspic by King Crimson. It's jazz-metal and proto-industrial noise, and Slint-tastic years before the fact, but Fripp can't do acoustic folk.

Why isn't late-Talk Talk called Prog?
Is PiL's Metal Box prog?
Are we just too impatient now to appreciate Yes? Has Marnie Stern found a way to do everything a 10min Yes song does in 3 minutes?
