Hi

I've had a nightmare and managed to somehow break my external hard drive with all my music on. I had an awful lot of music on it - some from cds some legally downloaded (not through itunes). It is apparently beyond repair and now it appears I have no way of accessing any of my i tunes music as I didn't back it up (what an idiot I feel like).
Does anybody know some genius way I can get the music which is on my ipod back onto my computer so I can play it through itunes and so I haven't lost all my downloaded music?
Any help at all would be very gratefully received.
