Anyone heard Mill Farm by Avia Gardner?
When I first heard it I was surprised how well it finds it's path in today's music and how it's so little known about her and Mitchell Akiyama (his solo stuff is great too), who's behind all the electronics in Mill Farm and it really combines well with her sound.
I'm not a native English speaker so it will be hard to define how exactly the album sounds, but it's weird but beautiful in the same time like Micachu - Jewellery.
Also, Letters self-titled album (released on Type Records in 2007) is a sleazy noise-pop record that's quite ahead of it's time in my opinion.
Just wondering if someone else who heard them could share their opinion.
