Anyone else prefer this? Very often a set of released stuff sounds all too close to the recording and I could just listen to that.

When I saw Dirty Projectors recently and half the set was new stuff it was so much more exciting, got me pumped for the new album. Animal Collective used to be the same until recently as well.
