Last year all the A&R I knew were going on about 'credible pop' and how it's gonna be the next big thing. And of course it has been flooding the charts for the last year or so, whether peformed by wet eared plebs or bands with a huge publishing advance to pay back, it's nothing but appalling.

On the upside, I was pleased to hear that Alphabeat have been dropped and will no doubt head back to whatever Scandinavian country they came from to live off the royalties from, 'Fascination'.
