disappointing stuff i thought. 'the very best of neil diamond' is class, there's some interesting lyrical ideas as usual, but there's a few nothing tracks on it and too often they seem to fall back on either unremarkable glam stomp or stoner balladry...
i defy the fanboys to keep claiming that they haven't dropped their standards in the last few years
