Now I have been going to gigs galore since the age of 11 - encompassing everyone from Bob Dylan - to Kings Of Leon - from Sigur Ros to Muse from Fionn Regan to Bjork. I have seen a lot people and a lot of 'greats' - and have become a little arrogant/tired of concerts as I have seen the majority of people I have wanted to see.

However - last Friday, I went to see David Byrne at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.....and it would be fair to say I was absolutely blown away by him. It was incredible, decked head to toe in all white, with crazy dancers running around him - it was visually stunning and exciting. More importantly, he sound brilliant - his voice was amazing and the crowd were electric.

Absolutely mindblowing - a true legend.

I can't recommend going to see him enough - he really is a legend and in a weird way, I think in years to come it will be only then that his genius is appreciated.

Go see him!
