Just been thinking; if bands make teeny fractions of money from getting plays on Spotify, what's to stop someone from leaving a playlist of tunes on repeat for hours (days?) on end, building up plays for their own band/their friend's band/some smaller band that you'd want to support, and earning them some moolah in the process.

I've had a playlist of bands-with-people-I-know-in running in the background on mute at work for the past 2 days, don't know how much it'd benefit them, but seems like it could be an interesting tool.

So, in that spirit - does anyone have any of their own stuff on there, or know of any struggling tiny bands that a bunch of Spotiplays might help out?
