I accept that this will be a Lyle-esque nil reply masterpiece of a thread. I'm willing to take that hit merely to voice how utterly, utterly fantastic this album is. It's more of the same as the first album, only with longer songs. And slightly less vocoder. Only slightly less though. There's still vocoder all over the shop.

I LOVE it when 'electronic' music has that simple formula (I say simple, I'm a musical dunce who couldn't tell you one end of a piano from the other) that just keeps lifting and lifting and your mouth keeps getting grinnier and grinnier and then WHAM! you're dancing on the bed. I'm nearly 30 for fucks sake, I'm supposed to be over this shit.

Anyway, can everyone in the world buy this record please? They should be massive. Beyond massive. There's a track with Cadence Weapon on, which might interest some of you. No? Well screw you guys then. Screw you all. It's mesmerising.

This whole record is incredible. Pounding drums, moogs all over the house, some sorta elastic bass guy meandering around the place, a chorus in one song that sounds a bit like ABC being raped by Metronomy. I don't even know what Metronomy sound like, but I imagine its like this. If it isn't, then I don't care. I don't want my illusions spoiled.

I wish I were better at describing this sort of music. For some reason I can imagine this record being played in a Friday night bar somewhere off Old Street. That would normally have me running away, but this is just so...happy? Party? FUN? Fucking hell, describing music is difficult sometimes. Just buy it, cheers.
