Its quite easy to see why a lot of people have been praised in the 20th Centruy as being 'greats', like Bowie, Rolling Stones, Zeppelin etc. But I've seen shit loads of hail for this band and I really cannot understand why they're regarded as so good by a lot of people.

Firstly, they might have had a couple of songs that were alright, but the huge, overblown, fuzzy videos with about 3 choirs, churches and boring solos are some of the worst music I've ever heard. Its not the way they play, its the stuff they do play.

As for 'Slash'. He had a shit image, a shit name, a shit hat and he was from Stoke on Trent. How the fuck is he meant to be one of the best guitarists of all time? Guns n Roses have just put me right off solos, and I can't stand anything that is even a little bit cheesy.

Thanks to Slash, and his hotpants-wearing friend, I've even been put off liking 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps'.
