nick cave at ally pally
couldnt find any posts about it, so thought i would do one. probably people all busy with reading and so not bothered. anyway i was really pleasantly surprised, pretty amazing set, and the new stuff actually seemed a lot better than the old. sons and daughters were a little off i have to say, and what the fuck was going on with the first support band? anyway if i learnt anything from this gig (my first at ally pally), its to not try to get down the hill faster by following people into forests only to find they're going to the carpark, then get the wrong directions from a security guard and end up in the big field with the noise of crackheads following you, then run across a field down the hill for 5 minutes towards some lights only to find yourself in a network of council estates filled with scary people, then knock on someones door although its 11pm and you must seem like a mentalists, then just get quite scared and think you're gonna die, and then just keep running down roads until you see a main road, and then ask 5 more people for directions to wood green whilst running so fast you're covered in sweat only to end up at turnpike lane station 15 minutes later completely knackered.
don't do it. it's a bad idea. wait for the bus. or just dont run into the field in the middle of the night. k?
