The Archer in Newcastle isn't doing gigs anymore ... everything they had scheduled is either being moved to places like the cluny or abandoned.

now i didn't really like the place (no atmosphere, ever) but its sad to see one of the few places that puts on small bands calling it quits - apparently they're remodelling the place and live music wasn't what they think will keep the place going in the future.
