This is something I do a fair bit. i.e. I might read a review of a reviewer that I think has been spot on before, take his/her word for it, then go buy the album.

This year this tactic has seen me grab Arcade Fire, Autolux, Sufjan Stevens to name a few.

My mate Jimmy thinks this is weird, as he "has to here at least one or two songs to know the album is worth buying".

Please agree with me :-)
