Yesterday, at a festival here in Sweden, I saw one of the best bands I'd ever seen in this country

They're called Gösta Berlings Saga

Just instrumental - they played a curious hybrid of fusion/prog/math.rock/quincy jones type stuff

It sounded like sterolab/spiritualized/EITS playing medleys of Caravan/focus/camel if said latter trio of bands had a back-catalogue of 25th century sci.fi space thriller retro film theme tunes

It was AWESOME

trouble is 'Gösta Berlings Saga' is also the name of just about the most popular piece of swedish literature and it's on all the swedish school curriculae

Googling gets me in excess of 5,500 hits in swedish
