As a youngster, I'd go see bands just to go see bands. Not really caring if I loved them or not. I remember seeing Berlin do the worst Suffragette City cover possible, but I still didn't hate myself for going. Seeing the Bunnymen's first LA show at the Whiskey A-Go-Go was my first listen. I've been hooked since.

Today, I've altered my new band focus to buying cd's, in particular from the used bins.

So are you guys more likely to find out about a band visa-vie a live show or from a cd? With the advent of downloading, I'd bet the internet is how the majority of you do it. But I've been surprised before.
