MTV turned to instant shit, but let's face it: their first song - Video Killed The Radio Star - was an inspired choice.

Now, it can't obviously be mainstream Coldplay, but I think too obscure isn't quite right either. Should capture the spirit of DiS. The first tune that jumps out at me is Up Against The Wall Motherfucker (Icarus Line). Beautiful bass intro, to an inspired fuck-it-all rawk song. Or if that's too old, then maybe something from The Ponys new one. But these bands are American and the first tune should probably be a British act. Hmm. Let's give Colin a hand. You guys are full of good ideas. :-)
