what is the most simple and least confusing and time consuming way for me to get songs from vinyl (ie, my 7" singles) onto a format which isnt cassette (ie, onto my comp or cd)

is it even possible using only the regular household technology ?

will it sound like shit ?

should just wait until i get some form of recordable mp3 player (it is my 21st in a few months afterall)
